Innovation
To be innovative means to think outside of the box. In education, we have to be willing to try new things, embrace the uncomfortable feeling of not knowing the exact outcome of an idea, and be willing to go back to the drawing board when the outcome is unfavorable. Over the past two years, I was allowed to test my INNOVATION by designing out-of-the-box approaches to learning and exploring how other people's innovativeness has influenced education.

This artifact showcases my passion for creating unique and differentiated ways to discuss the methods that teachers are able to assess students. My goal was to bring to light the multiple methods of assessment that can be used in education and to encourage educators to allow students to show their knowledge in ways that are most meaningful to their own learning.
