TE 846 - Accommodating Differences in Literacy Learners
Instructor(s): Erin Jurand
Grade: 4.0 |
In this course, we spent time breaking down the different components involved in creating effective literacy instruction in the classroom. Our time was spent reading articles, watching lectures, and sharing ideas with peers in discussions. Through these different methods, we learned how to properly and effectively modify and adapt literacy instruction for the diverse needs of all learners. Throughout the semester, we used the information learned to aid in conducting a literacy case study. This allowed us the chance to identify and address a literacy need in a small group of students and create plans of assessment, reflection, and instruction to develop our skills in meeting students literacy related needs.
