TE 838 - Children's Literature and Film
Instructor(s): Laura Apol
Grade: 3.5 |
This course challenged participants to view films as a separate interpretation from a novel. We took time over the semester to read a children's text and then "read" the film version. We read and viewed several of the "classics" and sought to see things through a filmmaker's creative eye, identifying ways the film stayed true to the author's creative ideas and ways it differed.
